Personalized Therapeutic Support

Specialized Therapies For Your Unique Journey

Different challenges require different approaches. Our providers draw from a range of evidence-based therapeutic methods to help you better understand your experiences, develop practical skills, and move toward meaningful change.

Therapy Designed Around You

There Is No One-Size-Fits-All Approach To Therapy

Every person brings a different history, set of experiences, challenges, strengths, and goals to therapy. An approach that works well for one person may not be the right fit for another. That is why our providers draw from multiple therapeutic methods to help create care that reflects your individual needs.

Depending on your goals and the challenges you are experiencing, therapy may focus on understanding patterns, developing practical coping skills, changing your relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions, processing past experiences, or building new ways of responding to life's challenges.

Your provider can help determine which therapeutic approach—or combination of approaches—may best support you as your needs and goals evolve.

Our Therapeutic Approaches

Different Tools For Different Needs

Our providers use a range of therapeutic approaches to help patients develop insight, build practical skills, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful change.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)

CBT focuses on identifying connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. It can help you recognize unhelpful patterns and develop more effective ways of thinking and responding to challenges.

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

DBT helps build practical skills for managing intense emotions, navigating relationships, tolerating distress, and becoming more present and mindful in everyday life.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS explores the different internal “parts” that can influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. This approach can help develop greater self-understanding, compassion, and internal balance.

Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT)

ACT helps you develop a different relationship with difficult thoughts and emotions while identifying your values and taking meaningful action toward the life you want to build.

Exposure & Response Prevention (ERP)

ERP is a specialized therapeutic approach often used for obsessive-compulsive disorder and related concerns. It helps individuals gradually face fears while learning new ways to respond without relying on compulsive behaviors.

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP)

KAP combines ketamine treatment with therapeutic support, providing an opportunity to explore thoughts, emotions, and experiences that may arise during treatment and integrate them into your ongoing healing journey.

Building Perspectives That Support Everyday Life

The goal of therapy is not simply to feel better during an appointment. Meaningful therapeutic work can help you better understand yourself, recognize patterns, develop practical tools, and respond to life's challenges in new ways.

As your needs evolve, your therapeutic approach can evolve with you. Therapy may also be combined with medication management, ketamine treatment, TMS, or other supportive services when a more comprehensive approach to mental health care is appropriate.

Specialized Therapies FAQs

How do I know which type of therapy is right for me?

You do not need to choose a therapeutic approach on your own. Your provider can learn about your concerns, experiences, symptoms, and goals and help determine which therapeutic approach—or combination of approaches—may be appropriate for you.

Can my therapist use more than one type of therapy?

Yes. Depending on your needs and your provider's areas of expertise, elements from different therapeutic approaches may be incorporated into your care. Treatment can evolve as your goals and circumstances change.

What is the difference between CBT and DBT?

CBT generally focuses on understanding and changing connections between thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. DBT also incorporates cognitive and behavioral strategies but places additional emphasis on skills such as emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness.

What is IFS therapy?

Internal Family Systems, or IFS, is an approach that explores the different internal “parts” of ourselves that may carry different emotions, beliefs, protective responses, or experiences. The goal is to develop greater understanding, compassion, and balance within yourself.

What is ERP therapy used for?

Exposure and Response Prevention, or ERP, is commonly used to help individuals with obsessive-compulsive disorder and certain anxiety-related concerns. Treatment involves gradually and intentionally facing feared situations or thoughts while learning to reduce reliance on compulsive responses.

What is Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy?

Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy combines ketamine treatment with therapeutic support. Therapy can help patients prepare for treatment, process thoughts or emotions that arise, and integrate meaningful insights into their ongoing mental health work.

Can therapy be combined with medication management?

Yes. Therapy and medication management can often be used together as part of a comprehensive mental health treatment plan. Your care team can help determine which combination of services may be appropriate for your individual needs.
